Volunteer Opportunities

Please consider volunteering to help our chapter get underway and plan new activities. Remember, FRUA North Carolina relies solely on volunteers and we NEED you!

Right now, we need volunteers to:

• be the Grow Bag Coordinator (to read more about Grow-Bags, please read THIS from the National FRUA site).

• support families: E-mail Cindy Girman (cindy_girman@merck.com), Family Support Chair, to volunteer to help families in the process of adopting. She is compiling a database of families willing to be a support/sounding board for prospective adoptive parents.

• arrange and conduct a seminar series for pre- and post-adoptive parents

• organize events and culture days
